Two things really took me by surprise when I did that list of all my OCs at the start of the year: one, I kept updating it rather than leaving it as-is, and two, other people did versions of their own. Wow! A lot of them, though, were organised by series rather than in a big alphabetical list like mine. Personally I quite like the big alphabetical list, so that’s the version I will likely keep updating, but I thought it was really interesting to do my own version with them all by series as well. Besides, it helps give you an idea of who these names all are, especially since there are so many of them!

Some versions of this, like Huntress-of-Hearts’ version, use nifty formatting tricks with italics and underlining to show which characters were more important than others. I’ve gone for a much simpler system – the closer you are to the top, the more important you are. Bear in mind with this, though, the ‘central’ characters of each series will generally include the first four or five – you may get some distance down some of the longer ones before people who actually don’t matter very much start appearing.

Ones You’ve Seen:

Pokeumans: Room 181

What can I say, it’s the original. A lot of these characters have only minor roles in this story that get expanded upon drastically in the sequel – more on that in a minute.

Pokeumans: Back And Forth

Given that this story has, for the most part, two parallel plotlines I’m surprised how few actual characters it has. Maybe it’s because it’s only quite short in length compared to… others I could name.

Perception and sequels

My all-singing, all-dancing, all-original newer series. Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean the above Pokeumans stories won’t happen – I’m just playing a funny balancing game. I’m not going to lie, this probably contains more characters than it really should do, but too late now.
The ‘Who’s the werewolf’ question just got a lot more complex, didn’t it?
And yes, there are prospective sequels lined up. The first one features mermen, and the second one feature cyborgs.

Nuzlocke: The Gold Standard

Ones You Haven’t Seen:

Quick blurbs are included in this section, so that you have even the faintest idea of who all these names are. These lists are mostly quite small because the series in question is a concept with a handful of the main characters planned out - if/when they get written up, expect to see a full story's worth of characters in appearance.

Pokeumans: Room 181 Returns

This is the one I meant before. By the end of the first series, Cameron Stevens had eight different enemies (if you count Alex, who’s more of a rival). This is the sequel where they all come back for revenge – all of them. Meanwhile Jack has invented his best design yet, Alex has acquired a sample of Pokextinction’s cloning data and Cameron has to recruit his most risky ally yet – himself.

Cam2
Jack-R
Dr. Turner

Pokeumans: The Secret War

Another Pokeumans story I have planned, and which I will write if I haven’t died of old age by then. Two human teenagers stumble into a hidden Pokeuman village of a rock-climbing expedition – and are allowed to go. Now they act as eyes for the PRT and undercover agents for our side, which is difficult when you also have a normal life to maintain too.
This character list is so short in part because a lot of the residents of the village are effectively deceased characters from my Nuzlocke run(s), used to fill the crowd scenes. Yes, Alexander and Amy did marry in the end, and now they’re mayor and mayoress.

Pokeumans: Other

Characters from one-shots past and future, minor experiments or just people I created for the universe that I then pulled out and shelved again. Get used to that on this list. They’re in the ‘Haven’t Seen’ section because, well, the majority of them you haven’t seen, and this list is complicated enough without truncating every last one-off.

Perception: The Maverick Division and sequels

The same universe as the above. What do you do when a dragon roost or powerful sorcerer won’t listen to the bleatings of the conventional government? You call for these guys – a band of vigilante heroes who do what the army isn’t willing to and take the fight to the bad guys personally. When Lucas joins this ragtag mob after falling out of his own world just like Jason, it seems like the opportunity for some real freedom and excitement – if it doesn’t get him killed, that is. Very likely to be referenced to in passing in the ‘main’ Perception stories at times.
This one has sequels in the pipeline too. Prospective titles include Cold Welcome, Magic Itself and Cait Laertilia Must Die. Expect to see this part of the list grow rapidly.

Perception: Background characters

A few months ago I did some world-building for this universe as well, and I have to say it was really fun. These guys are the fruit of that, along with many other details and information. Don’t expect all of these to appear – some of them are long dead -, but where appropriate I look forward to adding some verisimilitude with these guys.

World’s Greatest Villain

One of my favourite backbench series. After the criminal mastermind of an entire country known only as The One dies, thugs and police alike pay their respects to a master of the craft. However, after aspiring crime lord Malachi hears of The One’s secret weapon that made them so successful, he and his inept left-hand-man Chris go in search of it – as have several other warlords, police forces, aspiring heroes, the mafia and one very confused scientist.

Perfectionism

If I’m ever going to produce a Work Of Art, it’s probably going to be with this one. Useless wash-out Rodney discovers that a friend of a friend can use hypnotic methods to adjust his personality by turns to be the charismatic superstar he always wanted to be. But just what does doing that kind of thing to yourself leave you with once it becomes too hard to keep up?

Superheroes

My off-the-cuff attempt to create a pack of superhero characters exploded far beyond what I expected. This is what world-building does to you. These are all teen heroes with their own networks of allies and nemeses, but they all connect to each other and call on each other for support sometimes when needed. As for the world: what do you do when you live in a world where superheroes are common, but in a part of the world where they are both rare and distrusted?

Deprogramming

Even though Sam barely has a penny to his name, he still opens his home to the tragic figure he finds washed up on the riverside barely breathing one night. Unfortunately, though, this figure turns out to have been an escaped test subject – a normal boy taken and turned, physically and psychologically, into a rage-driven assassin super-soldier. Sam decides to keep him, and swears he will do everything he can to make him can become a normal boy again. This is how that attempt goes.

Quest Log (or, Demons And Where To Stick Your Sword Into Them)

Small towns in standard RPG-alike worlds don't get much trouble from the big, serious monsters. So when signs of a major, ferocious, seriously damaging beast begins appearing just as five aspiring adventurer teens (plus a friend from high school) meet up in town for a weekend sleepover that lasts a lot longer, they want to get involved in finding it. Only the friend knows, though, that the monster is in fact one of the group, turned into a beast every night and set loose - because he's the disguised demon that does it to him in the first place, and then makes poor Jamie forget it every morning. How do you solve a crime when you're not aware that you did it?

Also has a shorter companion story, in which a princess escapes from yet another terrifying kidnapping - and finds herself being escorted back to the castle by a demon of unimaginable power, who actually has no interest in torturing, abusing or in any way mis-treating her on the way. He's not so bad once you get past him being able to blow up the world...

The Sky Below

Sky pirates can be very persuasive – drop down, abduct a passing stranger from the ground below, put them to work in galley. Being anthropomorphised sharks, they’re not that fond of having humans on board – but as Finley and others find out the hard way, they have ways to fix that too. In case you can’t tell, transformation is one of my favourite plot devices.

The Wild, Wild World

Inspired by a rather odd dream I had. Famous rogue Luc Piaget’s notoriety has become so severe that there’s only one thing left for it – flee. This is slightly easier when you are a two-foot tall upright rat from a community of the same, and can just ride a human’s shoulder off into the sunset. Continuing to practice your trade is harder, though, when you try and match your small shape and small-town skills against a world full of all kind of strange things. Not impossible, though… Luc always finds a way.

Poke-Hybrids

Back to Pokemon! After reading a few series featuring half-human, half-Pokemon hybrids and the struggles and situations they face, I started in the way that I do gathering ideas for my own hybrids of this kind and what they’d face. There are several different groups, in different situations and regions – but as often the case with me, overlap is not impossible.

He gets the wrong Legendary, and then everything goes wrong.

Reality.0

The Rakvus are the fierce, strongest enemies in the new game everyone’s playing. That is, until one player seemingly gets stuck in the world of the game itself and discovers that in-universe they’re a perfectly calm race of hunter-warriors – until they get called up to enlist at the final boss’ castle. But surely it doesn’t make any sense for someone to enter the game world from outside, right? How could that happen...

Shadowplay

A group of seemingly normal teens are drawn together and thrown suddenly into a gauntlet of supernatural trials and tests. We Are All Pokemon Trainers prospective

Back in the start of 2016 I discovered the Tv Tropes forum roleplay thread We Are All Pokemon Trainers, and its amazingly wide world of over fifty players where any kind of craziness is fair game. I debated long and hard over whether to join and decided not to in the end – the arcs likely required too much time commitment -, but while I was still thinking I ended up making my trainer character and his prospective party. Waste not want not.
It was only as I was compiling this post that I realised that this roleplay has a well-established alternate universe, and that I could easily see some of my characters’ alternate version in this universe, so I counted them too.

And the rest. More concepts than characters, these are the ones either waiting in the wings for a story that they’ll slot into, ones with a general idea of what they might fit into but no upcoming plan for when that’ll be, a fragment of a story with no surrounding work done on it or just an idea of a character on the backburner for development and opportunity. I look forward to giving them more exposure in the future.

This took a lot longer than I expected, but I really enjoyed doing it. If you want to know more about any of these names, just ask! I'm not going to turn you down on that one!
The thing that surprised me was how many of my OCs that I forgot who they were - which is a problem, because I'm literally the only person who could know who they are.

The Uber-list version is here: fav.me/d9l7pup

Give them time. You'll likely find a slot someday when you fancy writing something new, and something old that you'd forgotten about usually fills the gaps.

Wow, that's a LOT of stories. I really hope old age doesn't catch up before these are complete, they sound amazing~

I've been thinking of making a character list, just to get all of them sorted in my head and so that I can remember how many I have and who doesn't have a story (I'm trying to make a list of characters people can use for cameos in Pokeumans since it's fun to see other characters in various stories.)

Unfortunalty I organise things too much so I'm currently struggling with an MS Excel sheet trying to figure out how to organise characters.

Out of all these stories, I'd say the Pokemon hybrid one sounds the best to me- you had me at "hybrids".

Well I know you have those amazing plans to connect all your Pokeumans series, I think it'd be worth doing if for that alone.
And yes, I'd be up for a list of cameo-able Pokeumans characters, or even giveaways. If you want, you can just organise this yourself and post it in the group - you might be surprised how much response you get.

Interesting that that took your fancy! I like them too - they're a good-natured story for when I get tired of all the seriousness in other stories. Maybe I'll write them someday! I can give you a bit more info on the characters/series, if you want.

I'm actually interested to see how people will react when they find out that Rai is not only a protag but also one of the things that connects multiple stories.

Heres the WIP for the cameo list, just need to complete it and get a few links together- sta.sh/027me7qrn16r

And yeah, I'd really like to know about the hybrids~

That's often a great moment, especially if they didn't look like a very interesting character beforehand.

Sure! As you can see, there's a lot of the hybrids, so here goes.
Generally they're there to different take on the stories (or at least settings of the games), since they all have two forms and can speak to Pokémon freely. A lot of them were originally who humans who either got mixed up in mystic items -since the Pokémon world has plenty of those to go around - or sufficiently-advanced science:

Adam, the first one, is a Xatu-hybrid who got involved in some of Team Rocket's more dodgy experiments - he's now largely abandoned the gym challenges (but kept his team) and keeps an eye out for other hybrids he can act as a sort of cryptic helper to.
Blue Eyes and Green Eyes (yes, I've played Pokémon Ranger. Real names Phillip and Terry) are two siblings who found unique icy and mossy rocks turned them into a Glaceon- and Leafeon- hybrid respectively - they now use their abilities to help people as sort of pseudo-superheroes.
Fraser and Cynthia are a bit more unique, since Cynthia was originally a normal wild Pokémon before Team Galactic decided to use her for extremely dodgy experiments. She's now a second soul in Fraser's body, and the two can watch over each other's shoulder. This means with them it's not so much a question of what form they're in as who's in control at that time - and the body changes to match the operator. They have such a sweet relationship.
Adam's also a bit different since he's not actually a hybrid, but has been turned into a Zoroark and uses illusions to look human. He's trying to carry on as if nothing happened and look like a normal person, but he's finding it harder than he thought.
The bigger group is the ones from Johto. Sam Cayston is a Scyther-hybrid who's trying to keep it all secret so he can go on a trainer adventure like lots of normal people do. He soon meets up with Luke, who finds him out after Sam changes form to protect him in the forest. To Sam's shock, he agrees to still travel with him and says it doesn't change the fact that he likes Sam. Luke then gets abducted himself - same dodgy Team Rocket experiment - and made into a Luxio-hybrid. Sam rescues him along with a Zangoose-hybrid who turns out to be called Wendy, and (with a little coaching from Owen) they learn how to cope with their changes. Since they're now all in the same boat, they go on the adventure all together. They also meet Sam's older siblings Roy (a brash Seviper-hybrid) and Grace (a more sensible Clefable-hybrid who works in a Gym). Sam also acquires a rival called Blake, who eventually gets his own hybridisation as well - this time Blaziken. There's a lot of dancing around before they each discover the other's secrets.
The Distortion one is when a normal human called Lester in Sinnoh has found out about all these different hybrids and researched them all extensively (apart from Fraser, who he is completely unaware of despite the fact they live only a few streets away from each other). Deciding he wants the kind of power they have for himself (and if it comes in Garchomp, that would be ideal for him), he finds one of the two Orbs connected to the time and space Legendaries and climbs Mt. Coronet to bargain with them. What he actually summons is Giratina, who throws him into the Distortion World so he can both learn what what he's asking for actually looks like and to punish him for his impudence. He winds up a twisted version of the real world, where all the same hybrid characters exist but as counterparts to their real versions - Blue Eyes is a conniving exploiter, Adam is an aggressive pack alpha, Blake goes from a strong lone wolf to a despairing weakling and so on. Here Lester sees a played-up version of the public animosity and fear of being discovered that the real hybrids face, as well as being dragged around as a general punishment. It works, but it also puts his back up during the process as well.

Phew! Sorry for the wall of text!
